Since 2015 we have completed water testing in villages of Anambra state in Nigeria. Two of them we have determined to be the best fit at the moment for a public health intervention as dictated by the community. We have tested many different sources of water in 6 government locales, including river beds, boreholes, and springs. Many of these places are moderately filtered, but not well enough to get rid of harmful chemicals like arsenic which can have very adverse effects at high levels.
