Since 2015 we have completed water testing in multiple villages of Anambra State, Nigeria. Two of them we determined to be the best fit, at this time, for a public health intervention as dictated by the community. We have tested different sources of water in 6 government locales, including river beds, boreholes, and springs. Many of these places are moderately filtered, but not well enough to get rid of harmful chemicals like arsenic which can have very adverse effects at high levels.
